Lunch and Learn Seminar Update

Our Digital seminar did what?!

Among the items included in our seminar gift boxes, guests received our Digital Substrates Swatchbook featuring exciting samples made from paper, plastic and even limestone!

Thanks to all who attended our Digital print can do that?! seminar in February. The response was overwhelming as more than 210 clients and potential clients signed up to attend. The current interest in Digital capabilities makes more sense than ever with our constantly shifting market needs, and everyone is quickly learning how seamlessly elements from digital and traditional printing can be merged to create high-impact, personalized campaigns.

What did we do?
The seminar evolved around powerful client case studies for McDonald's and Loyola University, captivating the audience with the remarkably high quality collateral created for high profile customers and serving as an introduction to the quality and array of paper and non-paper substrates available. INDIGO digital printing offers the widest range of options on the market today. All attendees received a personalized gift box full of digitally printed pieces on a range of substrates which we reviewed in detail. We encourage those customers who were unable to attend the seminar to contact their account executive for a review session.

What did we see?
Our clients experienced first hand how INDIGO digital quality is superior – clients saw how branding standards don’t have to be sacrificed when incorporating digital print into campaigns. INDIGO digital printing supports targeted, segmented variable data campaigns and trackable cross-media campaigns leveraging Personalized URLs while empowering marketing executives to easily utilize the power of print on demand and efficient web-to-print systems.

Clients also experienced the power of dimensional mailers and a 14 page variable-data brochure that demonstrated the unbelievable range of possibilities when we make use of our data for marketing purposes. One product in particular that created a buzz was our clever ClingZ poster that we positioned on the wooden walls at Maggiano’s. ClingZ is a unique, thin gauge (2 mil) polypropylene that has an electrical charge embedded into the film giving it a static charge that enables it to adhere to virtually any hard surface for 6 months. Nothing is easier to apply (and remove) – it’s perfect for point of sale promotions.

What were we asked?
We knew we had a hot topic when questions for this seminar came pouring in during the RSVP stage. Many questions centered around quantity and size requirements and data merging for variable data. In an effort to address all questions asked we are preparing a question and answer guide that will be posted on the printForum site soon.

What is next?
The post-seminar response has been wildly enthusiastic, and we are pleased to be helping many clients with their first ClingZ posters and INDIGO-produced campaigns.

We’re in the planning stage for another seminar based on the great feedback we’ve received to date. So please check back for details – you won’t want to miss it!
